Dr. Lilian Nzavi, Board Member 

Dr. Lilian Nzavi is a certified Human Resource Management professional with over 25 years of experience. She is currently the Director of Human Resource Management and Development at the Ministry of Defence. She is a results-focused leader who delivers talent acquisition, resource and budget forecasting, organizational development, employee relations, retention and motivation solutions that help the Ministry to harness the full power of the most valuable assets (people). She is a Certified Trustee currently serving in the Kenya Defence Forces Pensions Scheme Committee as well as the DEFWES Pension Scheme.

Previously she worked as Director of Human Resource Management in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labour & Social Protection, Ministry of Interior (Immigration department), Office of the Auditor General as the Manager Talent Acquisition, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Services as Assistant Director Human Resource Management and Ministry of Home affairs (National Museums) as Personnel and Administration Officer.

She is an active member of good standing with the Institute of Human Resource Management which is the legal professional body of Human Resource Management Practitioners in Kenya.

She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and Diploma in Business Management from The University of Nairobi.
